Accepting Nominations...
Although we will accept nominations at any time, this thread is to remind everyone that we are accepting Nominations for Cache or Cache Series of the Month for April 2018. You can submit COTM nominations by either email board@mngca.org or post a nomination in this thread. Nominations need to be written in a way that gives the reader a spoiler-free description of what make the cache special. You must include the Cache Owner, Cache Name and GC code (of one of the caches in the series) with your nomination. Your nomination must also include a brief write-up for the cache (at least a sentence...but I would prefer something a bit longer...I honestly think we are capable of writing a couple sentences or a nice paragraph).
If you find an outstanding cache, reply to this post!!! Nominations for April 2018 Cache or Cache Series of the Month will remain open until April 10.

I would like to nominate GC641FK Crooked Lake, Crooked Cache by bnelson333. This well constructed cache and its placement will leave you wondering how does someone think of something like that and then build it. It is placed in a beautiful quaint park on Crooked lake in the Coon Rapids/Andover area. Come check it out. You will love the cache and the park. As of this writing it has 31 favorite points for 56 finds. P.S. If you need a hint just ask me Crooked Lake, Crooked Cache

I would like to nominate Where did Navy's Treasure Chest Go? GC5535BI avoided doing this cache for a couple of years as I knew it would be a challenging one. I finally did it last year and yes, physically it is a tough one to do! But, compared to P&Gs, this is what geocaching is all about (at least for me)... a challenging cache, a great workout, awesome views, and a real treasure chest at the end. I will admit that I did not hike the entire way, but it still took 2.5 hours of hiking to reach the end. If you are up in the Duluth area and need a good challenge, this cache is it! Thanks Iceberrrrg for a great cache!
